We need the requested information to determine whether we can assist you in this potential legal domain dispute. We also need this information to determine whether your matter conflicts with any other Kain & Associates client or other client matter.
What We Do with the Information
We, at Kain & Associates, will:
1. Keep your inquiry confidential until we: (i) determine that your matter does not conflict with other clients or other client matters; (ii) send you our engagement letter; or (iii) send you an email refusing your request that we represent you. Please remember that our engagement does not begin and we do not formally represent you until (a) we send you a confirmation email indicating there are no conflicts and that we can handle your case; (b) you electronically sign or agree to our engagement letter; and (c) you send us the retainer fee (usually by credit card).
2. Use your information to determine whether we have a conflict with your proposed legal matter and any current client of our firm, Kain & Associates, or former matter handled by our firm. For more information about conflicts, please click here.
After you agree and accept our engagement letter with your electronic email approval or reply and you send us the requested retainer (usually by credit card), we plan to use the information collected above in the domain dispute. When we file your UDRP papers, the information you have given us is no longer confidential.
If you do not retain our firm, or if we decide not to represent you in this domain dispute, we will destroy the information collected above within 10 business days after you send us the information.
